Oxford

A lovely sunny day. Spent the day in the college town of Oxford. A million and one bicycles, lots of lovely old buildings, and plenty of tourists. Parking is out of town at a Park'n'Ride facility. We decided against the shuttle bus into town (£8 for 3) as it was only 2.5km (ish) and there might be things to see along the way.  For the return, though, Malcolm kindly volunteered to go back and get the car, which meant Jennifer and I were let loose in the shops for 45 minutes, woo hoo.

Nice town but the similar college town of Cambridge (on our last trip) was more picturesque and less crowded.

Dear Coles and Woolies ... this is how you should be discounting food. A LOT. What a score.

No, apparently you don't go to Oxford Castle to see the sights, you go to go dumpster diving. Thankfully I had relocated well away from the pair of them by then. "There's a perfectly good printer in there". Yeah right, we'll just get another suitcase.

A few old buildings ...

I really want to spend some quality time at this shop ...

Leaving Oxford tomorrow morning for Cheltenham in the Cotswolds.
