Walking around Cheltenham

After the huge "on the bus, off the bus, on the bus" day yesterday we had an on-foot day today, walking around Cheltenham. It was supposed to have "Bath-like architecture" but I was very disappointed as it didn't have nearly the charm of Bath. There were some nice buildings/views, but most of the touted items didn't live up to the reviews. I was also expecting lovely gardens with lots of pretty flowers, but they were all parks of grass and a few trees instead.

Poor timing number 5 ... we went to the 'highlight' of Cheltenham, the Pittville Pump Room (a Regency thingy I wanted to see) but there was a wedding so it was closed. One outside pic though. I did laugh at the 3 little girls sitting watching, they were so excited to see the bride get out of the old car!

At least the weather has been good (some cloudy/cold days but not actual rain). Apparently it's 28 degrees outside now at 5.30pm.
